Farmers Market

Market dates for 2024
Sundays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 28 through October 13

The market is a family-friendly place on a lush meadow with picnic tables, live music, educational and children's activities. Located just off Highway 525 on South Whidbey Island.

We encourage regenerative, organic and GMO-free growing methods. The market accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cards and offers SNAP Market Match currency. Several farmers accept Farmers' Market Nutrition Program cards June through October.

Meet Our Regular Vendors

Become a Vendor

Do you have something you would like to sell at the Tilth Farmers Market? Regular vendors pay $45 for the season and guest vendors pay $10 per Sunday (up to $50). Vendors also pay a commission to Tilth each Sunday: 5% of sales for farm products, and 10% of gross sales for value-added and craft products (up to $75). For all the details, see the Market Policy.

If you are interested, please first contact the market manager at market@southwhidbeytilth.org. Once the manager agrees, print and complete the Vendor Agreement and return it with your payment to South Whidbey Tilth, PO Box 252, Langley, WA 98260.

Sell at the Community Produce Booth

Do you have produce or plants you’d like to sell without becoming a vendor?

We welcome growers to bring their produce each week to our Community Produce Booth. A Tilth volunteer will sell the produce, and you receive 75% of the sales.

All items need to be grown organically–with organic pesticides and organic fertilizers, and harvested according the WSDA 90-120-Day rule.

To participate, download the Community Produce Form. If you have questions, contact our volunteer at comm.produce@southwhidbeytilth.org.

Volunteer at the Market

Every week, a group of volunteers will set up, help at the market, and help with take down. Volunteers can sign up for as much or as little time as works for them. There is a whole group of us, and it can be great fun! If you are interested, please contact the market manager at market@southwhidbeytilth.org.

Volunteer Judy Brown pitches in to set up for the Farmers Market.
