Tilth Farmers' Market Opens Sunday, May 4, 2014
Vendor Orientation Meeting — Thursday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church's Grigware Hall near the highway at 18341 State Route 525 in Freeland. The 2014 policy and agreement will be available and selling space assignments will be made. Sign up for the season's Early Bird special of $25 per selling space before April 22, 2014. The market is a family friendly place on a lush meadow with picnic tables, live music, educational features and children's activities. The produce vendors could accept SNAP coupons (formerly food stamps) as well as Farmers' Market Nutrition Program coupons. The market management encourage organic and certified organic growing methods and GMO-free.
Vendors are welcome to apply to the South Whidbey Tilth Farmers' Market. Watch for the 2014 policy, agreement and application.
Selling space fee is $35 for the entire 26-week season, plus 10 percent sales commission up to $500 in sales.
