Growing Cool-Season Crops

Enjoy fresh organic greens this season from your backyard garden. In this class taught by Anza Muenchow, we will discuss soil preparation and the best varieties to thrive in our climate and resist our pests. Mid-March is the time to plant your veggie starts and sow your peas, parsley and arugula.

$5 for members and $15 for non-members (cash, check or card payable on the day of the class). R.S.V.P to education@southwhidbeytilth.org.

Anza Muenchow, formerly a WSU Extension educator, is a small farmer who has sold fresh produce at the Tilth Sunday market for many years. She enjoys promoting more food growing in our community.
