A Big Thank You to Work Party Volunteers

This Saturday morning’s  work party started out chilly but sunny.  In only ninety minutes with a dozen folks present, wood, sticks, old wire fencing, and more were hauled onto Lance’s trailer.  Many blackberries were dug out of the ground and hauled away too!

No more trash or dumping here.  With a small dumpster on site, any trash generated from the gardens or campus will be taken home, or bagged and put into the dumpster.  It’s a new rule we hope will help beautify Tilth, and keep the rodent population down.  Thanks to everyone for helping in this effort.  Special thanks to Lance for making the trek to Coupeville to dispose of the pile.

Much appreciation goes out to all the community gardeners and Tilth members who showed up to make light work of a big job while feeling that Tilth sense of community. Thank you.
