Guide to Fair entries 2026.

Calling kids of all ages to make garden characters out of fruits and vegetables to enter in the Whidbey Island Fair July 23 to 26. There are two separate venues for the workshops on July 19:

• South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 2812 Thompson Road, Langley

• Whidbey Island Fairgrounds with Deer Lagoon Grange, 1 to 3 p.m., 819 Camano Avenue, Langley

Farmers and gardeners were looking for funny and wierd looking vegetables and fruits. Please avoid cut melons and berries that turn to mush in a few days. We welcome volunteers not only for the workshops but during the fair. All volunteers get a pass to the fair. Sign up via Signup Genius.

Once finished on Sunday, you will receive instructions for how to enter your creation on Tuesday, July 21 between noon and 6 p.m. Find the Entry Guidelines here.
